i made for a friend

this is mostly charcoal, done in taos, inspired by black and white photographs and the book of short stories i was reading by eudora welty. jesus is holding a joint and passing it to me, i'm in the overalls with the sunglasses and hat. that's who i was that summer. in the lefthand corner there is a little girl with a bow and arrow and a man standing behind her. this image is most important because it represents all that occurred that summer. this piece is framed and lives with the little girl with the bow and arrow.
